There are many brightness Settings. Press and hold the switch for 3 seconds to turn it on or off. A quick press will not open or close the red dot. For models with an up arrow and a down arrow, hold down the up arrow for 3 seconds to power on and the down arrow for 3 seconds to power off.

To adjust the brightness, quickly press to adjust the brightness from low to high. The first time you open it, it will be at the lowest setting. This setting is not visible to the human eye and can only be seen through a night vision device. We get quite a few returns because users can’t see it and think it’s defective. Please press the switch to adjust the brightness cycle until you see a bright spot.

You most likely (99% of the time) have astigmatism, but you don’t realize it. What you see is a small reflection of the LED bulb on the lens. An easy and quick way to do this is to use your phone to take a picture of the dots in a medium brightness setting. If you see a dot in the photo you take, you can basically diagnose yourself with astigmatism (because the phone is a machine without astigmatism). Many users decide to stick with imperfect dots or use a larger MOA red dot, such as 6MOA instead of 3MOA. Some users also see that green dots are better than red dots, it really depends on the individual case. Or the user could use entirely different optics instead of a reflective scope, such as a rifle scope.
